Urban exploration

Thomas Rhodes, a student, fell to his death from an abandoned 1960s hotel in Sheffield, England, on 26 March 2016.

An inquest has just heard that Rhodes had been an ‘urban explorer’ who had previously entered the Hallam Tower hotel (pictured), which has been empty since 2004.

The derelict hotel is a prime spot for those who yearn for a bit of dangerous living.
