John Mark Coffey, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, took 14 gunshots from 8 policemen at a fast food joint in May.

He died from his wounds, while sitting in a pick-up truck in the parking area of a Burger King.

The police went to the Burger King after a 911 call. They noticed that Coffey had a shotgun.

They said they tried to get Coffey to put the shotgun down, but shot him after he pointed the gun at them. No officers were injured.

The post-mortem said Coffey had been shot in the head, the left shoulder and neck, right chest and shoulder, torso, pelvis, back, forearm, calf, knee and thigh.

There was also a toxicology report; Sertraline, an anti-depressant, was found in Coffey’s body.
