Around the world about 85 people a year are either killed or injured by tigers, which actually try to avoid humans if possible.

Thus the death of Rosa King, 34, a zookeeper in England, on 29 May, was quite probably a “freak accident”, as the zoo described it.

On the other hand if you keep a tiger in a confined space – tigers normally like to roam across more than 1,000 square miles – then it might be considered a bit of a risk.
