Tumbled off

Your tumble dryer might be a killer.

Seamus Houlihan, a former councillor in Limerick, Eire who was in his 80s, died after a fire broke out at his home, caused by a tumble dryer. A forensic examination of a dryer, which was just three years old, found it was the likely source of the fire, an inquest has learned.

His son James, who lived in the same house, returned home to find the house filled with smoke, the family dog dead, and Seamus unresponsive.
