At the home of the Atlanta Braves, the US baseball team, Todd Keeling, 48, has died in the line of duty.
He was installing his own invention, a speedier method of pouring beer, in a walk-in cooler, when he was accidentally killed by the carbon dioxide which is used to produce the fizz in the buzzwater.
His invention, which he patented and called Draftwell, reduced the beer delivery time from a 14 second average to 5 seconds.
His aunt, Fran Kuchta, said after his death: “He always liked to be on his own and try different things.”
