Thieves never prosper

Joel Lewis was 17 when he stole 100 Zomorph tablets, morphine-based and used for treating severe pain, from a drug dealer – he died after taking them at home.

The coroner at his inquest said that the toxicity levels in Joel were the highest he had ever seen: “I can’t recall such a high level” said acting senior coroner Graham Hughes.

Joel had also ingested cocaine, marijuana and also the morphine.
