The one that got away

Robert Allen, 30, and Charles Allen, 21 – brothers – drowned off the coast of Cornwall last September, an inquest has just reported.

They were fishing off rocks and squabbling about netting a fish, when a freak wave washed Robert into the seas, and his brother tried to rescue him.

Charles was picked up by a lifeboat but died; Robert’s body washed ashore a week later.
