Swallow at your own risk

An as yet unnamed Japanese man, Udo N, decided it was too tempting an opportunity to miss – so he swallowed 246 one-inch packets of cocaine before boarding his flight from Bogota to Tokyo.

One of the plastic packets burst and gave him a terrific surge of blood pressure – which did for him.

There was more land given over to cocaine cultivation in Colombia in 2017 than at any time in its history; more than 422,550 acres. The amount of land used to produce coca leaf in Colombia has gone up on average about 45% each year since 2013.
