Scout’s honour

It was clearly a mistake for Joshua Michael White, who weighed more than 20 stone (289 pounds), to go hiking with his Scout troop in the Arizona desert in April. White was a big lad – six feet tall at 16 – with no medical problems.

A medical examiner’s report said he died in the Picacho Peak State Park as a result of dehydration and overheating.
