In West Omaha, Nebraska, Bao Nguyên has had a house he owned demolished and razed to the ground. Joggers complained to the authorities that it smelled of dead bodies.
The electricity supply was cut off and the house was unoccupied for years, with flies and maggots infesting it. Nguyên was ordered by municipal authorities to clean up, but failed to file the papers in time to prevent a bulldozer from carrying out a radical cleansing.
There were no dead bodies amid the rubble.
