Aigali Supugaliev was 63 when in July this year he was reported missing from his home in Tomarly, Kazakhstan. In September a decomposed corpse was found near his home and everyone thought it was the Kazakh pensioner.
Using nail clippings from the corpse, DNA tests gave the best possible ‘match’ with Supugaliev, 99.92%.
So the corpse was buried and full funeral rites were said for Supugaliev.
And now he has returned to his home after a four-month stint working on a distant farm.
