Michael Walsh, 65, died of multi-organ failure, according to a verdict just given in a Dublin coroner’s court.
He died in a Dublin hospital on 21 April 2017 after being attacked by a cow on the farm where he worked. He was medicating some calves at the time and it’s thought that the cow – which was not separated from the calves – became agitated and charged at him.
One week later Thomas Nolan, 76, died on 27 April 2017. The day before he had been herding cattle on his son’s farm at Clonamona in Ireland, when some of the cattle knocked him down and broke his skull.
