Kim’s TV choice

As the Trump/Kim Jong-un summit is off and then on again – and maybe off again later – it’s worthwhile remembering that life is harsh for North Koreans, no matter what goes on at the highest level.

The Korea Institute for National Unification – a think tank funded by the South Korean government – says that in March 2015, five men in their 30s and 40s were publicly executed in Pyongsong, South Pyongan province, for watching South Korean TV and narcotics-related charges.
