Another day, another pill…which is probably financially costly and pointless, according to a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine; this looked at a US survey on nutrition from 1999 to 2010 and linked it to mortality data. This included almost 40,000 American adults who were asked about their intake of dietary supplements – mainly vitamin pills.
You could wade through the research yourself – but the bottom line is: death is not delayed by pills, no matter how many or what type you take. So perhaps save yourself some money and enjoy life while you can.
