I can’t breathe!

Latest in the department of the bleeding obvious is some research from the UK’s University of Leicester.

A fall in oxygen levels (as a by-product of global warming) would pose a threat to human survival, says the research.

According to Sergei Petrovskii, professor at University of Leicester: “If, in the course of time, the oxygen production rate becomes too low or too high, the system’s dynamics changes abruptly, resulting in the oxygen depletion and plankton extinction…This would likely result in the mass mortality of animals and humans.”
