Be careful when you go out on your motorbike when there’s a full moon. It’s not werewolves that will get you though.
According to new research in the British Medical Journal, the presence of a full moon “is associated with an increased risk of fatal motorcycle crashes.”
The study was based on 40 years of data in the US, from 1975 to 2014, during which period there were 9.1 motorbike deaths per full moon night, and 8.64 on nights without a full moon.
