Going Dutch

A one-day exhibition of new gadgets and gimmicks for the funeral business in Amsterdam recently had lots of cute stuff, including coffins on which boards games can be played, and 3D-printed urns in the shape of the dead person’s head.

Or you could sample a  hollow walking stick, filled with ashes that can be scattered at the touch of a button, and which records the precise final resting place via GPS coordinates.

Those looking for a DIY funeral could order a mail-order coffin which can be assembled by the family of the deceased.
