Germany’s angels from hell

Open warfare is likely to break out among rival gangs of Hells Angels in Germany, after the murder of Aygün Mucuk, leader of a largely Turkish-origin Hells Angels pack, in his group’s clubhouse in Giessen, in the German state of Hesse.

He died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Mucuk was also shot and wounded two years ago, in a Frankfurt shoot-out between the Frankfurt and Giessen groups.

Hesse’s police reckon that around 700 people are members of one of the four separate biker gangs in Germany.
