Who is the biggest cannibal of all time?
The prize probably goes to the 19th century Fijian Chief, Ratu Udre Udre, who reputedly ate nothing but human flesh, mainly the bodies of prisoners of war, and died around 1840.
He kept a tally of how many bodies he had consumed – a stone for each one.
When he died 872 stones were discovered.
You can visit his grave, in the district of Rakiraki, close to the Vaileka township.
The stones of his dinners surround his tomb.
