Death party high jinks

Debra Lynn Johnson, 69, had diabetes, high blood pressure, had already had two heart attacks and was on prescription pills for depression. Not much of a life.

Her husband, Duane Arden Johnson, 58, who owned 47 guns – some stolen – ran naked out of his home in Minnesota screaming his wife was dead. Then he ran back inside again.

Police found him in the bath where he said he was trying to clean little black and white things from his skin.

The two had decided to end it all in a drug haze but before that they used a red paint spray can to daub “Death Parde [sic] God Hell” on the front door.

After Debra died her husband washed her and wrapped her in linen “like the Bible told (him) to do.”

Duane has been charged with criminal neglect and receiving stolen goods.
