Owen Lewis was 22 and a school supervisor in France. He went missing in the Alps and his frozen body has now been found by a helicopter search close to his holiday apartment in Risoul, which is 1,850 metres above sea level.
It’s thought he got lost after leaving a popular nearby bar. According to police: “The victim’s body was found by a mountain stream, and footprints pointed to him getting lost, and then freezing in the snow.”
