Do not get caught in adultery or a gay sexual act in Brunei, the tiny independent state on the island of Borneo in Asia.
From 3 April a new penal code is to be implemented whch will mean a hand and a foot gets amputated for any theft, and death by stoning is the punishment for adultery and/or gay sex. The acts must be “witnessed by a group of Muslims” and the punishments are part of Islamic Sharia Law.
The Sultan (i.e. the ruler) of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, whose brother Prince Jefri once had a luxury yacht he named Tits on which he would entertain his harem, called the new code a “great achievement”.
