Better late than never

In the UK, the Metropolitan Counter-Terrorism police have reopened the case of Naji Salim Hussain Al-Ali, who in July 1987 was shot in the neck – and died a month later – on his way to his workplace in London. The murderer, who used a 7.62mm Tokarev pistol, has never been found.

A political cartoonist for Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, he had published more than 40,000 political cartoons in Arab newspapers, satirising Israel, the Palestine Liberation Movement, and Arab and Western countries.
