Beer can collection

When the lifeless body of Robin Badham, who was 57, was found at his home in Port Talbot, Wales, last September, he was surrounded by hundreds of beer cans.

But an inquest has just been told it was impossible to know if the drink did for him – he’d been dead for several days and decomposition had started.

In debt, facing eviction, and suffering great pain from an industrial accident at the brewery he worked for, there is little wonder he took to the booze.
