Atheist exhumation

Gwendolen Patricia Crow is to be dug up from the grave she has occupied for the last 19 years at St Nicholas Church in Charlwood, Surrey (pictured), in England. Crow died after a car accident on 10 January 2000. It turns out that she was a committed atheist without any religious beliefs, and the family has finally succeeded in having her remains removed from the church’s grounds. Her ashes will now be scattered at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium.
