The search for immortality is itself immortal.
The latest on the live-forever front comes from scientists at the Institute for Aging at the UK’s Newcastle University.
Dr. João Passos, at the institute, says the key to staying young is to remove mitochondria (illustrated) from human cells, according to an article published in Medical News Today.
Removing mitochondria reduces the levels of markers for cellular aging, and triggers the potential “rejuvenation process” that’s in our cells.
